The fine print, made transparent and simple.
Last Updated: June 2026
Welcome to AMIGOS. These Terms of Use govern your access to our website and the purchase of our
travel packages, itineraries, and hospitality services. By browsing our site or booking a tour with us, you
agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
⚡ TL;DR: The Quick Summary
Bookings: Your slot is only locked in once the designated advance payment is cleared.
Changes: Itineraries may adjust due to flights, weather, or local safety conditions.
Cancellations: Refund percentages depend strictly on how close you are to the departure date.
Compliance: You are responsible for carrying valid government IDs/Passports and travel
insurance.
1. Booking & Financial Transactions
To ensure a seamless reservation process, the following financial protocols apply:
Securing Your Tour: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the initial advance
token payment as specified by your AMIGOS travel consultant.
Final Balance: The remaining balance must be cleared as per the payment schedule provided
before the tour departure date. Failure to settle the balance may result in autonomous cancellation
of the booking with forfeiture of the advance.
Statutory Compliance (GST & TCS): All bookings are subject to applicable Indian tax
regulations, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Collected at Source (TCS) for
outbound international travel, where legally mandated.
2. Dynamic Itineraries & Service Amendments
Travel involves shifting variables. AMIGOS reserves the right to modify trip logistics to preserve your
safety and convenience:
Force Majeure: We are not liable for itinerary disruptions, flight delays, or cancellations caused
by weather anomalies, political unrest, natural disasters, or unexpected governmental border
changes.
Operational Adjustments: While we make every effort to stick to the planned itinerary, routing,
hotel selections, and transport sequences may be subtly adjusted on-ground to handle local
operational challenges. Equal or higher-tier alternatives will always be provided.
3. Standard Cancellation & Refund Framework
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation structures are bound by our contracts with airlines,
hotels, and local ground handlers.
Flight & Rail Cancellations: Subject strictly to the individual airline or railway authority’s
specific refund policies. AMIGOS service fees remain non-refundable.
Land Package Cancellations: Refund calculations are determined based on the timeframe
between your written cancellation request and the departure date:
o 30+ Days Before Departure: Eligible for partial refund (minus non-refundable booking
tokens and supplier advances).
o 15–29 Days Before Departure: Subject to a standard percentage penalty.
o Within 14 Days of Departure / No-Show: 100% non-refundable.
4. Traveler Responsibility & Safety Compliance
As our guest, you agree to fulfil the following core travel mandates:
Documentation: You must carry valid, original government-issued IDs (Aadhaar, Voter ID, or a
Passport with at least 6 months validity for international routes). AMIGOS is not responsible if
entry is denied due to invalid paperwork.
Health & Conduct: Travelers are expected to maintain a respectful decorum with fellow tour
members and ground staff. AMIGOS reserves the right to terminate a guest’s tour mid-trip if their
behavior compromises group safety or violates local laws.
Medical Self-Declaration: You must explicitly notify us of any severe medical conditions or
physical limitations prior to booking so we can advise on the suitability of the itinerary.
5. Intellectual Property & Digital Conduct
Website Content: All text, custom graphics, brand assets, and curated itineraries on the
AMIGOS website are the exclusive property of AMIGOS and may not be copied or repurposed
without written consent.
Platform Security: Users are prohibited from attempting to breach website security, scraping
data, or introducing malicious code into our booking portal.
6. Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution
Any disagreements, claims, or legal actions arising from bookings or website use shall be governed
exclusively by the laws of India, and fall strictly under the jurisdiction of the courts in Burdwan, West
Bengal.
